Den-Paku is a project of architect Yasuhiro Yamashita to renovate and convert vacant traditional houses into lodging facilities.
This footage shows some of the Den-Paku Inns in Amami Oshima, a subtropical island in the southwest of Japan, as well as the breathtakingly beautiful scenery and interesting culture of Amami.
