【Finished】 Representative Yasuhiro Yamashita speaks at the Inbound Summit 2022

On Saturday, July 2, 2020, Representative Yasuhiro Yamashita spoke at “Inbound Summit 2022,” an online event organized by the Inbound Summit Executive Committee. The “Inbound Summit 2022” was a large-scale online event held for tourism businesses and local governments across Japan with the aim of raising the strategic importance of inbound tourism in Japan. With three other speakers, “Does Sustainable Tourism Really Need to be Tackled?” and held a session on the attractiveness and future of tourism in Japan and the importance of sustainable tourism.

What is “Inbound Summit 2022”?


A large-scale online event for tourism operators and local governments across Japan, aimed at raising the strategic importance of inbound tourism in Japan. 120 key tourism players took the stage and more than 4,000 viewers attended the event.

【Finished】Representative Yasuhiro Yamashita speaks at the Inbound Summit 2022

On December 8, 2021, Yasuhiro Yamashita, President and CEO of Amami International will participate in a panel discussion at the “Symposium on the Promotion of Sustainable Regional Management Utilizing Tourism” hosted by the Japan Tourism Agency.

He will introduce the efforts of Amami to develop Denpaku Town and discuss new ideas with other panelists and participants.

February 24 Speaking at the symposium “The Possibilities of Craft in Hokuriku”

Yasuhiro Yamashita, President of Atelier Tekuto, will participate as a panelist in the “Possibilities of Craftsmanship in Hokuriku” symposium to be held in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture on February 24.

 

In addition to a keynote speech by Kenya Hara, President of Nippon Design Center, and a talk session moderated by Professor Yuji Akimoto, Director of the University Art Museum, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, there will be workshops and exhibitions where visitors can experience Hokuriku crafts.

 

The symposium is on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration is required. Please come and join us.
※There is no need to apply for workshops and exhibitions.
※Some workshops are fee-based.

The venue is Komatsu Art Theater Urara.
